The Exchange of High-Level Visits
This section highlights some of the most high profile exchanges between the Japanese Imperial House and Oman. These include the visit of H.H. Sayyid Fahd in 1997 and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq (the then Minister of Heritage and Culture) in 2008 to Japan and the visit of the Their then Imperial Highnesses the Crown Prince and Princess to the Sultanate of Oman in 1994.
One of the most crucial aspects of furthering bilateral relationships is through the frequent exchange of high-level visits. We live in an age of globalization, where traditional definitions of borders and boundaries no longer apply.
Cooperation and communication at all levels are extremely important to promote understanding, mutual respect, and friendship between different nations and cultures. These visits have encouraged further efforts to enhance the uniqueness and richness of the relationship that exists today.
