Prestigious Royal Decorations and Recognitions

While Oman and Japan reside half a world from one another, a unique and essential aspect of our national identities we share in common is the esteem in which we hold our Royal Families. Both the Imperial Family of Japan and the Royal Family of Oman have long histories in their respective nations, as well as with one another.

Over the years, many individuals have taken initiatives in promoting ideals of cross-cultural exchange and dialogue. This commitment to cooperation and strengthening relations between Oman and Japan has been recognised by both respective Governments. His Imperial Majesty the Emperor of Japan and His Majesty the Sultan of Oman has conferred the following prestigious decorations to each other’s distinguished nationals for their exceptional efforts in serving relations of friendship between the two nations.
