As the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Japan, it is with great pleasure that I extend my deepest gratitude and appreciation to the companies from Japan and Oman that have generously supported the creation of our electronic digital book website commemorating the marking of 50 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Oman and Japan.

The friendship between our Nations extends to over 400 years, and strong bond between our two nations has flourished over the past five decades. This milestone anniversary serves as a testament to the enduring friendship and cooperation that exists between our peoples.

The creation of this website is not only a celebration of the diplomatic ties between our countries, but also an opportunity to showcase the similarities and shared values that are deeply rooted in both Japanese and Omani cultures. From a profound respect for tradition and heritage to a commitment to innovation and progress, our nations have much in common.

By highlighting these shared aspects, we aim to deepen the understanding and appreciation of our respective cultures, fostering an even stronger bond between our peoples. Through this website, we hope to provide a platform for scholars, historians, and individuals interested in the history of our diplomatic relations to explore and learn from our rich heritage.
